Notes
Yield: Makes 6 kabobs; scale up easily for parties or themed celebrations.
Donuts: Store-bought donuts can skip the baking step. For homemade, bake my mini chocolate donuts recipe for 6–7 minutes and cool fully.
Storage: Best enjoyed immediately. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; marshmallows and donuts may get a little soggy but will still taste great.
Holiday and Party Variations: Valentine’s Day and Canada Day: red and white ingredients; 4th of July: red, white, and blue (add blueberries); Birthday or themed parties: mix colours and fruits for fun combinations.
Fruit Swaps: Use firm fruit such as blueberries, raspberries, or pineapple chunks. Avoid soft or watery fruit that can make the kabobs soggy.
Allergy-Friendly: Use vegan and/or gluten-free marshmallows and ensure donuts or cake cubes are free from allergens if needed.
